Victron Energy VE.Bus BMS

SKU: BMS300200000 Category:

The VE.Bus BMS V2 is a Battery Management System designed to interface with and protect one or more Victron Lithium Battery Smart 12.8V & 25.6V (LiFePO4 or LFP) batteries in systems with Victron inverters or inverter/chargers that use VE.Bus communication. It monitors and protects the batteries against over-voltage, under-voltage, and temperature extremes. Based on the battery status, the BMS will generate a pre-alarm signal to warn of an imminent cell under-voltage condition, disable inverting in VE.Bus inverters or inverter/chargers and other loads via the ‘Load Disconnect’ terminal in the event of a cell under-voltage condition, and disable charging in VE.Bus inverters or inverter/chargers and other chargers via the ‘Charge Disconnect’ terminal in the event of a cell over-voltage, under-temperature, or over-temperature condition. The BMS also features remote on/off terminals and can disable VE.Direct and VE.Can solar chargers via a GX device. It allows control of the VE.Bus inverter/charger from multiple devices, such as the Digital Multi Control, the VE.Bus Smart dongle, and/or a GX device. Additionally, it has auxiliary power input and output terminals to keep a GX device powered in the event of a system shutdown.
