Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 250/60-MC4 Charge Controller

SKU: SCC125060321 Category:

A solar charger gathers energy from your solar panels and stores it in your batteries. Using the latest, fastest technology, SmartSolar maximizes this energy harvest, driving it intelligently to achieve full charge in the shortest possible time. SmartSolar maintains battery health, extending its life. The SmartSolar charge controller can even recharge a severely depleted battery, operating with a battery voltage as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.

SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers constantly monitor the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels. MPPT technology ensures that every bit of available power is extracted from your panels and stored, especially noticeable when the sky is partially clouded and light intensity is constantly changing.

You can remotely control and monitor the extensive features of your SmartSolar MPPT charger with built-in Bluetooth by pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the internet with a GX device, the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) provides access to the full power of your MPPT anytime, anywhere. Both VictronConnect and VRM are free to use. For remote installations without nearby internet, you can monitor your MPPT by connecting the GlobalLink 520.

MC4 connectors are standard for connecting solar panels. They provide a secure, weatherproof connection, ensuring reliable performance in various environmental conditions. Designed for ease of use, MC4 connectors allow quick and straightforward plug-and-play installation with a robust locking mechanism to prevent accidental disconnection. Built for high voltage and current, they ensure efficient and safe power transmission from your solar panels to your inverter or charge controller. Use pre-assembled PV cables with male/female MC4 connectors for a safe and neat solar power setup. Use MC4 branch connectors to connect two strings of solar panels in parallel.
