Use the MK3-USB interface to connect the Victron inverter/chargers with a VE.Bus communication port to a computer USB port. The VE.Bus connectivity to the VictronConnect App allows you to configure, monitor, update, and diagnose your Victron product.
– The MK3 to VE.Bus connection is available for Android, Windows, and macOS X but not iOS.
– The VE.Bus Smart dongle connection is available for Android, macOS X, and iOS, but not Windows.
After wiring a system, installers must use VictronConnect to configure and set up the inverters and other Victron components. Firmware updates are also performed via VictronConnect. Internet connection or downloading files is not required for these tasks; just connect the app to the product.
Configure the system with the MK3-USB interface. Once configured, the VE.Bus Smart dongle will be the user interface for monitoring and operating a complete RV or Marine Victron system. It will also allow you to control the shore power input on your inverter through the VictronConnect app.

The VictronConnect app is the most effective way to configure up to three inverters. VEConfigure is required for systems composed of four or more inverters.
