The Victron Lynx Distributor M8 includes a positive and negative busbar. The positive busbar has four connections with fuse protection and monitoring, while the negative busbar has four connections plus a ground connection. It’s part of the Lynx Distribution system and comes in two versions with M8 or M10 busbars. M10 or M8 in the part number indicates where the Lynx modules connect to each other (the end of the busbar with the black/red rubber caps), while fuse and cable connections are always M8 in both models.
It features a power LED and four fuse status indication LEDs. When connected to a Lynx Smart BMS, up to four Lynx Distributors can send fuse status information to it, but this feature isn’t available when connected to a Lynx Shunt VE.Can. It comes with a 40cm RJ10 cable for power and data transmission when linked to a Lynx Smart BMS. The Lynx Distributor is designed for MEGA fuses, which must be bought separately.
