The Magnum ME-AGS-N Automatic Generator Start module will maintain your battery bank charged and in good shape even when you are not around to check the batteries’ state of charge.
The AGS will sense the battery temperature and voltage to start or stop the generator based on the configurable pre-settings. Both temperature (from 65F to 85F) and voltage are adjustable. Additionally, set up the generator’s running time from 1 to 5 hours.
There are two versions of Magnum’s Auto Generator Start module. The ME-AGS-S and the ME-AGS-N. Use the N model in combination with Magnum ME inverters. The S model is a stand-alone version with similar functionality to the N, but it will operate without a Magnum Energy inverter. Both work with 12V, 24V, and 48V battery systems.
The Automatic Generator Start Module will not prevent your manual ON/OFF generator switch from operating whenever needed. The AGS Automatic Generator Start Module is compatible with most major generator brands, including Onan, Powertech, Generac, Westerbeke, Kohler, EPS, Northern Lights, and most portable generators with electric start.
